STUDIO & LOCATION
Where is the Cayivisions studio?
The studio is at 188 Summerfield St, Scarsdale, NY 10583, in Westchester County.
Did Cayivisions move from Stamford?
Yes. The Stamford studio at 500 Summer St is permanently closed. All podcast recordings, studio video sessions and day rentals now take place in Scarsdale.
Is parking available?
Yes. There's parking right outside the studio, so you can arrive, unload any gear and walk straight in.
How many people can be in the studio?
The studio holds up to five people: one engineer and up to four guests on camera. No additional people can be in the studio during recording.
How many speakers can you record at once?
Our multi-camera setup comfortably handles up to four speakers, which works for solo hosts, interviews and panel discussions.
Can we change backdrops or sets during a session?
The sets stay the same during regular hours, but you're welcome to bring decorations to make the set your own. Any decorating needs to happen within your booked time, starting no more than 15 minutes before the session and finishing by the end of it.
Do I need any experience on camera?
No. Most of our clients are business owners and professionals, not performers. Sessions run like a conversation, and you're guided from setup to wrap.
PODCAST RECORDING
How much does it cost to record a podcast at Cayivisions?
A one-hour Multi-Cam Recording Session with raw files is $260. A one-hour Multi-Cam Episode Recording with full editing is $365. For batch recording, a seven-hour Studio Recording-Day Rental is $1,655.
What's included in a fully edited podcast episode?
The $365 Multi-Cam Episode Recording covers one hour of studio time, multi-camera recording, high-fidelity audio, full post-production and custom branding. You receive a finished, broadcast-ready episode.
What's the difference between the raw session and the edited session?
The raw session ($260) gives you every unedited camera angle and audio track, so you or your editor can cut the episode yourselves. The edited session ($365) gives you a finished episode put together by our team.
How long until I receive my files?
Raw session files arrive by secure download link within 48 hours of your recording. Fully edited episodes arrive by secure download link within 10 business days.
Do I get revisions on an edited episode?
Each edited episode includes one round of minor revisions. This doesn't cover major changes to the edit, or sessions where you chose to give us creative freedom. Send your notes within seven days of delivery and we'll turn them around within 24 hours.
STUDIO DAY RENTAL
How much does a full-day studio rental cost?
A seven-hour Studio Recording-Day Rental is $1,655. It includes multi-camera coverage, professional lighting, high-fidelity audio and delivery of all raw files within 48 hours.
Can I add editing to a day rental?
Yes. A full-day rental with editing is available for $2,450.
How many episodes can I record in a day?
Most clients record six to ten episodes in a seven-hour day, depending on segment length and how long guest changeovers take.
What time does a studio day start and end?
Studio days usually run from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a break. Other times can be arranged on request.
What happens if we run over seven hours?
Extra time is charged at $250 to $350 per hour, depending on whether you booked a raw or an edited session. Extra time depends on studio availability and isn't guaranteed.
VIDEO PRODUCTION & EDITING
Do you film on location?
Our Freelance Videographer service is $365 per hour and brings the cameras to your office, event or storefront anywhere in Westchester County, Fairfield County and the New York metro area.
How much does video editing cost?
Video editing is $105 per hour. Before any work begins, we give you an honest estimate of the hours based on your footage and brief, so you know the total cost upfront.
Do I have to record with you to book editing?
No. We edit footage from any source: your own camera, another studio, a phone or an event videographer. You don't need to have worked with us before.
How do I send you my footage?
Send it through a secure link, Google Drive or on an SSD.
How long does editing take?
Most editing projects are delivered within 10 business days of receiving your footage, depending on length and complexity.
Do you add captions and subtitles?
Yes. Every short-form clip we make comes with captions.
SOCIAL MEDIA & CLIPS
Can you make short clips for social media?
Yes. We can turn your long-form recording into four fully edited, captioned short-form clips for $100.
Do you offer a monthly package for podcasters?
Yes. The Podcaster Add-On is $400 per month for season-long clients. It includes four fully edited short-form clips for each episode recorded that month, a thumbnail for each episode, and uploads to YouTube and all podcast platforms. Bought separately, those services come to $650.
Do you manage social media accounts?
Yes. Our Social Media Management service is $450 per month.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Do you offer photography too?
Yes. Many clients add photography to a recording or video session so their podcast art, website and LinkedIn all match. Professional Environmental Headshots are $160 for 30 minutes. An Environmental Photo Shoot is $260 for one hour. Event Candid Photography is $260 for two hours.
OWNERSHIP & BOOKING
Do I own my footage and finished files?
Yes. Every file captured and delivered belongs to you outright, with no licensing restrictions or usage limits. You're free to publish and distribute it on any platform.
How do I book a session?
Choose your service and time slot on our booking page. You'll receive a confirmation with the Scarsdale studio address. For custom projects, reach out through the contact page.
